SJRA Rodeo May 29-30, 2010 - Springville, CA

Caden and Grandma Debbie

Papa, Caden, Gaga & Wyatt

Wyatt: Saturday he was just a spectator but Sunday he was a contestant...see explanation below

Caden and his fan club. He is so friendly and always has kids following him around to play.

Only his 2nd year of rodeo competition and he is already sitting around telling the cowgirls his wild west stories...what are we in for?!

My handsome guy Wyatt

Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Debbie first time out watching the boys rodeo :)

I don't have any action shots of the boys riding posted just yet...I was having camera issues this weekend so I have to wait to get the action shots from my sister. Stay tuned they will be posted SOON!!

Little scenario of what took place this weekend...Caden was signed up the compete in Mutton Busting on both Saturday and Sunday well he rode a sheep on Saturday and then they announced that they were going to have a weigh in cause some of the kids may be big enough to move up to calf riding.

So Caden and another little boy were moved up to calf riding on Sunday. Thank God for cousin Judd who came to help the boys cause we were so not prepared for this and didn't have a clue.

Well Wyatt all of the sudden decides that he wants to ride on Sunday too. Now let me tell you Wyatt has not had any desire to get out there at the rodeos and compete he wants more practice at home first so I don't know what go into him but he rode a calf on Sunday and he did really well!!

So our weekend went from 1 kid riding a sheep to 2 kids riding calves! That is not good to throw changes on a Mama like that...nervous for my boys...

They both did really well on the calves...Caden didn't hang on for long and was really nervous and cried after his ride but said he wants to do it again at the next rodeo.

Wyatt was all business and for his first ride ever on a calf did extremely well!! If he would have hung on for one for second he would have made the only qualified ride and won for the day. He says he wants to do it again at the next rodeo too!!
