Kids are so honest...

 I took my boys with me to go visit a friend of mine a couple of Saturday's ago. I meant to only stay for about an hour but ended up staying a few hours. My friend's husband passed away back in November 2010. It was a sudden loss in my opinion...He was diagnosed with cancer in February 2010 started chemo in March 2010 and passed away in November 2010...that is quick and sudden to me!! They were together for 25 years and she is having a hard time so it was a very meaningful, wonderful and healing few hours in my mind and I think I needed it as much as she did. We talked and talked, strolled down memory lane sharing stories and laughing a lot and crying a little. Very healing :)


My boys were great they visited off and on with us, they played / picked on each other, they kept themselves busy and were very well-behaved the whole time but the picture below speaks 1,000 words to me and I just love it...the honesty of kids!!! Even if they don't say the words you can read it on their faces...'MOM, WE ARE SO BORED...CAN WE GO YET? HOW MUCH LONGER?'

Haha!!!! I love this picture and I love my boys so much!!! I didn't torture for much longer after I was able to secretly snap this picture of them...we left about 15 minutes later.

Thank you Wyatt and Caden for being awesome young men and putting up with your mom dragging you around to visit her friends and staying longer than she said she would and for not throwing a fit about it...I love you guys so much!!!
