During Caden's last week of school his class pretended they were attending school in the 1800's. His teacher was Ms. Sara Baker instead of Mrs. Hernandez and she gave each of the kids in class a new identity and family story and Caden was now Eduardo Vallejo. They had to attend school each day dressed as close as they could to how the kids would dress in the 1800's. They got points for everything they did that week and they had to earn 150 points to graduate from Apple Valley School. Caden graduated at the end of the week with 237 points. He had a great time and I think it was a really cool learning opportunity for the kids.
